About the Business...
As the name suggests, Bargara Beach Driving School offers driver education to the local community of Bargara, surrounding coastal areas and the city of Bundaberg. The driving school is owned and operated by Alex Avery, an accredited Master Driver Trainer.
Alex began the driving school after a long career with Education Queensland, serving the majority of these years as a school principal to many schools in the State.
Alex retired from his position as School Principal of Bargara State School in 2007; however, his passion for teaching inspired him to continue educating residents of the Bargara/ Bundaberg area, in Driver Education.
"Safety is no accident!"
Bargara Beach Driving School currently has 2 current-model cars in operation. Both are Suzuki Swift vehicles, with dual controls, giving the learner peace of mind with both safety and maximum control, in the unlikely event of a "worst case scenario".
One vehicle has 5-speed manual transmission for learners who feel comfortable with stick shift driving. Learners who feel more comfortable with driving an automatic transmission vehicle will enjoy the comfort and smoothness of our automatic car.
Both cars are regularly serviced and maintained for optimal performance and reliability. Both are smaller cars, giving even the most novice of students, confidence with parking, reverse parking, 3 point turns and general manoeuvring.
As with his vehicles, Alex also takes pride in his professional integrity and calm, friendly manner, contributing towards his reputation for being one of the most patient and understanding driver educators, and he welcomes any feedback you may have.
