Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about lessons, bookings, vehicles, and getting your licence in Queensland.

Bookings & Lessons

How many driving lessons will I need?

Every learner is different. Some students require only a few lessons, while others benefit from ongoing instruction. We tailor lessons to your confidence, experience, and goals.

Do you offer pick-up and drop-off?

Yes. We offer pick-up and drop-off from home, school, or another agreed location within our service areas.

How long are driving lessons?

Lessons are available in 1 hour, 1.5 hour, and 2 hour sessions. Longer lessons can be beneficial for building confidence and reducing nerves.

Cars & Lesson Types

Do you offer manual and automatic lessons?

Yes. We offer both manual and automatic driving lessons using dual-control vehicles.

Can I use my own car for lessons?

Lessons may be conducted in a student’s personal vehicle at the discretion of the instructor, after completing a waiver and confirming the vehicle is roadworthy.

What vehicles do you use?

We currently use two 2020 Suzuki Swifts — one manual and one automatic. These vehicles are easy to drive and ideal for learners who may feel overwhelmed.

Driving Tests & Licensing

Can I use your car for my driving test?

Yes, subject to availability and vehicle condition. We ensure our vehicles are roadworthy, insured, and compliant with legal requirements.

Do you help prepare for the driving test?

Absolutely. We focus on test routes, manoeuvres, road rules, and building confidence so you feel prepared and calm on test day.

What if my driving test is cancelled?

We cannot be held responsible for test bookings cancelled by Queensland Transport. We’ll do our best to help you reschedule lessons where possible.

Parents & Supervisors

Can parents sit in during lessons?

This can be discussed with the instructor. Our focus is always on what helps the learner feel most comfortable.

Do you work with nervous or anxious learners?

Yes. We specialise in confidence-building and take a calm, supportive approach to help nervous learners feel at ease.
